Farewell part eX- ercise!

It was a crazy day to begin with. I had three places on my agenda list- NYP, botanical gardens and East Coast Park. All three places for three different purposes. I was considering to be a part time taxi driver 'cause i think comfort earn quite a bit of money frm me today from all the travellin~

NYP- I had to collect my graduation gown that I had for less than 24 hours. Pathetic but true. Lost it at our last venue for the day-ECP. I had remnants of it was the photo of the acknowledgement slip.
My payment receipt. and the gown that went missing in less than 24 hours.



Botanical gardens- My morning exercise was to meet the IGNYTE leaders for soccer..haha all the soccer babes out in boots~ Thank God for the good weather and the extremely hilarious moments of falling, stepping and goals that we score.I will miss playing soccer with u my fellow bebes!

After the game, we sent Brenda down to the Nt'l stadium cuz it's closing..

And we got on our way to East Coast Park- Fran, Fei and Vi..on a lonely bus with nobody~

We had a long day skating and cycling-each to their own abilities. The guys( skater boys) were trying very hard to teach me effortless skating and I conquered the HILLS in EAST COAST FINALLY without falling!!!( Leela, we have to celebrate this!!) I had my fair share of falls and I would suppose it's part and parcel of learning for an amateur blader like me- learning the mistakes of how they happen and why they do~ Perhaps some people need more practises of mistakes before they get it..Like me:)

Lesson of the day: When I realised my gown was lost, I cant help but just feel really upset. HM..and I was going back home for my dinner with my family. And there were only 2 ways to go about handling how I feel- Control and be rational, or bite at anyone who comes near me. Well..i usually go for the second one but knowing it's perhaps the last dinner i have as a family..I didnt want it to be bad bad bad. Pastor Brian's sharing reminded me that applying wisdom in making the choice will reap the relative consequences-there you go~ though my gown is still unknown..I had a good time with my family [although any can go wrong went wrong at the dinner with the chef's bad cookin and long waiting time:)] The unhappiness for lost of the gown was definitely not worth to be upset with my family who had nothing to do with it..Hm. if u were me, how would u have react? * Proverbs 2:1-11*

And i believe- God Will bring back my gown.

Pre departure preparations~

Welcome to the tour of the Preparation for the land down under:)
I have been trying my best to conquer my fear for shoppping down orchard road by combing the areas for good buys before the rise of GST.
In the midst of it, I came to realise that the two things that drove me to stick to the end was the crucial 15 min planning of my shopping list and the thought of GST rise on 1st of July. Can't imagine that when i get back next year, things will soar by 2%.

Well, for those of us who are 21 years and above, I am sure you have received your GST credits from our "big boss". Their purpose is to offset the load of having to pay the 2% GST rise for the coming years and I think they did publish an article on the calculations of how far this can sustain you.
It just reminds me if God calls you to do something for Him..well He's gonna give you the ways, the ropes and the bars to do it. So He's gonna settle it for you..just be available. So for the GST credits, let my bank account be available..LOL..

I got two wollen sweaters and was intending if i should get my socks from Timberland..but the sales person could not convince me on the purchase because he cant even tell me what temperature is it suitable for- for running purposes.

I still have a few on the list and am making tomorrow the DAY!! to claim and get all my stuff.
