Terence kor kor bought tickets for Brooke Fraser's concert but he could not come along cuz he was due to fly to New York, London and Malaysia for the coming month. Had lotsa things to handle i suppose. :( Was quite upset though but he gave me good company. His friends Andi Jones, Lynette and Sarah from Randwick Church came to meet me and took me to dinner at this Turkish Restaurant. I ate this lamb kebab * though i dont eat mutton* and it tasted really good. My brave mutton attempt.:)
Andi Jones and gang are really a cool bunch of people. All of them are in the worship team for the Randwick church and they are so smiley and chatty. Sunny, Sarah's student was there and he is really a funny guy. Very sweet guy I must say~ i nearly cried when Andi told me not to pay for dinner- cuz Terence passed down orders that I cannot pay. I was like ultra overwhelmed..he takes too good care of him me le. I really think I will not survive if he goes away for a month..LOL
Brooke's concert was amazing. She is really a very natural performer and she's spontaneous. Must i add that she is a really funny person. She talks about stuff off tangent from the songs she play and never at moment let the lively mood of the concert down. The stage lights were pretty interesting and she had lanterns and umbrellas to go with some of her songs.
The songs were good and she gave a very go
od rendition of Silence of sound and added her own lyrics.* blown away*Musicians have their struggles too..writing songs that they don't really wanna write but knowing that someone out there will need that song. Musicians can be counsellors through their songs too:)
Me and Brooke at Enmore Theatre.I bought Terence an autographed brooke album but Andi did too..so I decided that I shall get him something else:( for givin me a chance to watch the concert.
Haiz..It's so down:( to have him go away for a month. Well..Amy will have to be my part time nanny then:)hee+
